part number query

Hi everyone! First post. Just bought 2001 ph 2 down under (australia) and need part number 8200106895 (from France). Oil filled up spark plug well and made Bluey run like a hairy goat!
Just wondering what the part is as found oil in sump well over top of dipstick mark and suspect this may have contributed to problem.

Going to check out plugs and would be handy to know what $155 is for.

By the way great site and main reason I bought a Clio Sport!! (Just toooo scared to drive it until confident everything good.

That is listed as a purge cannister,somewhere behind headlight N/S front wing retail @ £53.29 + vat.

So nothing to do with oil.

When got car running sick so took to dealer. Said oil was in sparkplug well and plug had fouled up. They said I needed this part to prevent further leakage. They replaced plugs and she ran sweetly. Since getting home I've found oil overfull and was wondering if previous owner has spilled oil whilst filling and filled sparkplug well. Don't want to pay out $155 for a part if not needed.

Purge cannister position wouldn't cause the problem.

Closest dealer is about 1000kms away.

I would drain the oil down to the correct level and try it to see how it runs and just keep an eye on everything.I got the part No,identified by Renault so it should be correct
