well i've been quoted £110 delivered for a bonnet from a breaker on eBay so I think I'm going to go for that one after I've done my insurance, tax and MOT in the next week :cry: Also, my stepbrother is a mechanic so he knows a lot of people in the trade so repainting it shouldn't cost that...

Anybody know if MK2 non-sport's bonnet sizes differ for 3dr and 5dr? I have a 5dr with a nasty dent in the bonnet, seen a few 3dr bonnets on eBay, would they fit? Also, would you get a whole new new bonnet or try and pull it out yourself? It's right across the seam which makes it a b****** to...

Mini update: Got delivered and fitted some new wheel trims! Very happy with them, updates the look of the car IMHO

Just out of curiosity...does anybody like the colour? I'm not too keen on it, but was my Grandma's so couldn't pass on a car with <25k (when I got it) for as cheap as it was!! On the plus side, it does look lovely and shiny with a coating of wax on it :clap:

So I have a 1.2l, 03 Clio, got less than 30k on the clock! As you can see, it's had (nearly) nothing done to it. I want to do some stuff to it, but not really sure what...I don't want to go crazy, just some subtle things that'll make it stand out from a bog standard one. I've been looking into...

I've heard that toothpaste works. Grab 2 tubes from Tesco, the value stuff will do, and smother them on your lights....wait 15 mins the wash it off....worth a try for what...50p?
