Shell has now been sold, and is being collected next weekend. All I have left is a gearbox, any takers? :clown: Il hopefully be at Oulton Park on track on the 4th of November if anyone wants to see the new project!

Cheers for the comments everyone. I never updated this to include Donington last month... I borrowed an ECU from Andrew Cooke, fitted a spare driveshaft, cleaned it and took it down to Donington.. Good day, apart from the alternator packing up again. I had fitted small LCD volt meter inside...

Was a good weekend... just needs a bigger audience IMO. The video has made it look like it was REALLY busy, when it wasn't really. Food/Drink was extortionate as I expected, even after they continually made a point on their website and the DW forum that they 'would not rip people off for...

Nah, its just time to move on and start something new i think... Its been a fun 3 years though!

Its 170odd bhp. 160odd lb/ft. Does 159mph on the limiter in 5th. Im breaking it because its worth more in bits. As for whats next... well wait and see. Might start breaking it this week as there isnt really any trackdays I want to do in the next month or so. It will be Turbo and lighter than...

Well, breaking it. Maybe quite soon too, possibly just one more trackday left.

Really good fast flowing circuit, ran a single seat in the morning and two seats after lunch. I had alternator problems yet again, but managed to sort that at lunchtime thanks to someone having a spare. A couple of clips from throughout the day:

I will more than likely be there with the Mk1, and BrenRogers in his 172. I will confirm 100% this evening after I've swapped drive shafts around and finished a few other bits. If we do I take it that its just 1 more person for it to drop down to £35?

In hindsight I should have fitted an aftermarket ECU from the start and it would have saved a lot of hassle... Buuuuuttt I didnt and dont see the point now when im going to be breaking it at the end of the year to start something new!

Well from what it seems the injectors must be individual, as it started, idled and ran completely fine on another ECU just then, without swapping anything over from what was there already, i.e. all my injectors and old ICV. Tried my ECU on Adams car, does not start. Sooooooo, its the ECU...
