My F7R produced 153bhp. It drove nice, was good fun.
Fitted F4R which will produce more than 153bhp without fail, unless some spanner has done the cambelt without the correct tools and the timing is out.

No one can prepare you for the problems some Mk1s can bring, its hit or miss.
It might one that will run and never need anything, or one that will p*ss you off every day with things needing fixing/replacing. They need quite a bit of looking after usually even in standard form, you have to...
Never heard of it being a problem on here... I use the cheapest 10w40 money can buy and hammered it round track all year long and never had a problem. Of them all I thought Mallory Park may have caused issues but it was spot on.
I always thought it was only 172 Ph1 and 172/182 Cup that had the speedo sensor in the back of the box (Cups due to lack of ABS obviously). Although, Blooooors 172 Ph2 had a speedo sensor in the back of the box, so im not too sure.

Yeah there were indeed from most club sessions...looked like a cruise out on track on some sessions - terrible behaviour from some people!
Also ~£20 for 15min, with comes with the added risk of no comeback if someone bins it on the first lap being a hero - Spend the extra and do a half/full day...
Question someone may be able to answer as Ive yet to see a clio box/diff fully apart and seperate.......
If the speedo is going up the diff has to be spinning correct? If not how is it driven?
If that's the case how is the diff spinning if the N/S shaft is still in place? Just shifting 100%...
