Just been and collected the drivers side 172 hub that I got from D4ve from being machined, will probably put it on later.
Hopefully no more ball-joint issues after this!

yes, its only 5 torx screws.....3 along top and two on ends lol.
seats....on the outside, nearest the door, the two bolts holding it to chassis are on top (torx I think), on the inside they are under the car (13mm).....and no you cant lend the jack go and buy one, LOL.

IIRC The Ph2s don't have an idle control valve as such, they are a Ph1 item which goes on the back of the inlet.

yeah, well the outlet is 2.5", which is the same size as the inlets on the 172 airbox, so it will do the job for now :approve:
Yours will jams when its red hot, whiteleys was at marham last year, even with a center silencer, just needs to be hot enough on overrun...
Adams will do it more because of the manifold

Spent some more time on the car this evening.
The car has needed some ducts in the fog light holes to tidy it up for some time, but ive just never got round to it. Demon tweeks sell a 6" x 3" duct that near enough fits with a bit of modification (Coops has...

Drivers side may weigh more due to them having the mech to change the height of the seat too?

Cams have been sat in the garage for months :dapprove: Been thinking about selling them in recent weeks, but il never get them as cheap as I did from Tooney again, let alone Schricks.

Coolant temprature is whats shown on the dash, yeah.
As to weather it controls the limiter, or if there is a 'timer' that counts how long the cars been running that controls it, im unsure......but the pin diagram for a 172 ph1 shows no pins at all for anything oil temperature related
