they weigh 995kg standard iirc lol. Gona cut the doors out soon and get it weighed, so quite a lot less than that :)

I wasnt expecing to pass much TBH, most of the time It was the same speed and it was just down to the better driver.... Im on a standard engine now, cams are out at the moment....plus ive added the weight of the cage, so wasnt expecting to be getting miles away... But still, car drove well :)

The Mk1 dash will not fit properly now the cage is in (Bulkhead bar in the way for the speedo cable), so went to the 172 set with an electric gearbox speed sensor. Also running the 1.2 dash-top to remove the 3 dials as I hate the look of them there. Sensors and wiring is in place for oil...

Mk1 as in valver/williams? MK1 Ph1's do not, they are stuck to the bootstrip Mk2 Ph2 (And Onwards) do, they have pins going into the boot

I have it on my 172 manifold and downpipe simply for the fact to keep heat away from the brake lines at the back of the engine bay, as I dont have a heatshield there. Its been spot on, never had an issue with high engine bay temperatures on trackdays and the brakes have always been spot on...

yup, turbo, flatbed took it home just after lunch! :( yeah, weather was great! Snick, no idea what bumper it was, 5 door too....was an odd combination to see it flying round!

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project Cadwell and back without any problems again! Few problems on track like the nearside wheel coming very loose....and the steering rack started knocking like fcuk towards the end of the day, and all the way home...think ive nackered it! Pics and vids to come...
