i had a mile to go to the petrol station, the light had been on for 40ish miles......cut out and i coasted down the high street, down a hill into the petrol station forecourt, luckily nothing in the way and didnt have to stop....filled up and went on my way

yeah......you're 1.2 will probably be 58mm spacing on the shock/hub if its a 16v.........172's are 54mm IIRC

to be honest i checked it, but i was more interested in the color being right after it being done wrong 4 times beforehand, i checked that then went on my way, only noticed the crease in the daylight today.....suppose il get on the phone then.....

gotta make sure the hub spacings are the same for the shock, the caliper mounting holes are diff sizes also so you'd need 172 brake setup aswell i guess, then with regards to abs sensors apparently they are on the driveshafts and the longer 172 driveshaft's abs rings are different to the 1.2...

100% it wasnt there, its been painted wrong 4 times, ive seen it twice inbetween, its very very noticable so i would have noticed because i always check and check again for marks etc.........

as people may know ive been messed around for the best part of 5 months with the sidestrips, 'new' 172 back bumper and door handles...... i was told the bumper was new and in mint condition........after it getting sprayed a few times in the wrong color, and being messed around etc......i finally...

so called 'new' 172 bumper, nice crease in it, someone has had trouble reversing IMO! f**king joke....

yeah i did them my self ages back, tbh the new rear bumper is a fu*kup, as are the sidestrips.............handles match though..........whole front and rear bumpers + strips re-done soon

had it made from an idea i saw elsewhere lol.....got a couple spare if you're after one
