My lower arm bushes are knocking but it's easier to replace the whole lower arm than press them out and refit new ones.
Does anyone know where the best place to buy new wishbones from ?
I have seen some on eBay for £50 ish quid c/w ball joints.
I'm guessing they ain't genuine Renault ones...

After reading this thread, it doesn't suprise me that Renault stealers are robbing f*****s.
Most of the time saying things are needing replaced and worn out when there not all to make a buck or two :(

Aa said before it may be cheaper to buy a car with it already done.
Don't you have to declare it to your insurance ?

Problem solved
I removed the pads from the offending caliper and found the piston had wound itself out a fair bit and twisted the piston seal in the process causing a leak.
So i wound it back in with a...

If the caliper was seized the piston would still be in place wouldn't it ?
Therefore no fluid leak ?
As it wouldn't move to take up free space..
This afternoon i was pulling away in my car and it sounded like the rear brakes were slightly scuffing when i applied the brakes it went away.

Screwdriver throught grommet to open up hole a bit.
Failing that use the bonnet cable grommet, thats the grommet i used to take the wires from my oil gauges to the senders in the engine bay.

Reason i ask is i filled up yesterday to the brim with fuel and reset it and got the following.
