Its a Dell Studio laptop where the power button is seperate from the keyboard (built into the hinge). http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/laptop_studio?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1&~ck=mn So i'm guessing the mainboard is fried :( Lol :rasp:

After a incident on Sat night where i spilt a cup of tea on my Dell laptop which went all over the keyboard and switched it off. It now won't turn on at all, even after being in the cupboard where the hot water tank is in since saturday night with the battery, keyboard etc removed to dry it out...

Sounds like it'd be a nice wee money maker for ya :) I need to get my dent repaired first before i even consider detailing. Where you manage to get a place ?

What do you mean they were damaged by over revving ? Does/Did it have some sort of raised rev limit from a remap ? I hope you get to bottom of whats wrong soon mate and that you get somewhere with the garage.

f**king hell !!!! Thats what you call being in the right place at the right time :) Get it bought as said before. If they replace the shocks with standard ones , just make sure they don't drill out anything hub wise etc to make them fit (as i can't remember if cups and trophys have different...

Very true. I was dubious about Arnold Shark too, but i have seen a few good jobs from there but i guess it varys from dealer to dealer and painter to painter. :S The thing is with Aberdeen is you a limited with a choice in a lot of things such as bodyshops and performace tuning specialists...

Thats what i want to do but i guess its outta my hands, i don't want to be too cheeky or the woman may think i'm taking the piss and not pay out :( As for a top notch bodyshop, thats why i went to get a quote from Kinghorn Bodyshop as they are meant to be one or the best albeit most expensive...
