Heres hoping its just the plugs as i'll change them first and go from there, eliminating things as i go.
Ok i'll take back what i said about HT leads not really failing.
Well i hope it aint them thats gone as aint they £100 + to replace ? :(
I was thinking that if it still does it after i change my plugs and coil that it is maybe the leads which very rarely fail as i've read on here.
So it may be a sensor and i will have to start digging a bit deeper.
Cheers for the offer on the plugs though ;)
Looking good mate, who did the turbo conversion ?
I gotta be a sheep and say i aint keen on the vented bonnet and rear lights, but each to there own.
Whats future plans ?
Where in Scotland you from ?
Cheers mate, all i typed into search was grease and plugs
DOH FAIL !!!! :dead:
Cheers Martin
Anyone any ideas why i doesnt start missfiring till about a minutr after start up and use ?
Sorry if this has been brought up before.
I plan to fit new NGK PFR6E-10 plugs and a Valeo Ignition coil in the next few days when they arrive as my 1*2 is sounding like a Subaru the now and missfiring like fu*k and has no power at all and i'm i'm hoping this will solve the problem.
The weird...
Whats the chances of this making 210bhp with the mods mentioned ?
Theres no sign of cams and i was under the impresssion that the F4R is hard to wring power out of without loads of ££££@s to throw at it :(

Lol @ everyone mentioning a jet wash to clean them.
Won't there be a chance of that damaging them internally that you can't see to the eye, therefore they could be weakened in the event of a accident.
Unsure of the affects of using APC on them though.
Were they all imports from same place ?
In the real world it most people probably wouldn't make a difference anyway.
As someone mentioned above there worth less, how much less is less?
But he said the last 147 he reached was in his Ph2 172 ;)
Thats if there tyres are rated to 165mph, don't they have speed ratings on them for some reason ?
Thats not bad going for an old Clio, although try explaining reason for going at that speed to the local Bill :rasp:
I was gonna ask that as its the same here, cops everywhere when roads are quiet :(
Although i got to 135 once and get fed up waiting.
Lol
Was 147 on Gps or on speedo ?
Who's this with ?
Any pics mate ?
And whats the did it work out at measuring from ground to wheel arch edge in the centre ?
Ah right.
You got any pics mate ?
What does this equate to when measuring from the ground to edge of wheel arch ?
I have also found this online which may be a bit better than the grease (which grit etc sticks to) that people are using at the moment to protect the threads from corrosion.
It is a dry PTFE lubricant...
If the bleed nipple has snapped in the hole flish with the caliper body and has not been slackened at all and isn't leaking brake fluid and the brake pedal is still firm couldn't you just leave it in place till you need to bleed your brakes again ? ?
As i'm guessing it'll still be sealing on...
Anyone know any decent garages in Aberdeen area ?
I don't fancy getting ripped off by Mackie Motors for a clutch change if i have to get a new one.
The problem is up here there aint really many people that fancy a job on a RS due to space etc etc
I would even travel further afield if needs must.
+1
I've noticed this when i pull out a side road onto a main road such as a Dual Carraigeway etc.
The cars move from the slow lane to the fast lane to let me pull out and i end up passing them as there going so fcuking slow.
Lol
And Audi/BMW drivers sitting up your ass are funny especially...
