    Saving fuel

No, it wasn't, it was this: He didn't say he wanted to drive like that all the time. If you can't help the guy answer his question what's the purpose of posting? Totally appreciate you approach driving differently and have zero consideration for mpg, but does that make him wrong for wanting to...

    Trophy #351

It's coming together nicely, good work. A few changes I'd make, but that's why we're all individual, so I'll keep those comments to myself. One I will share though - those plates, front & rear, look so cluttered - I'd urge you to get clean ones, it'll make a big difference imo

    Saving fuel

But he's not moaning about fuel economy, he asked a sensible question about maximising his car's efficiency and trying to improve his driving style. Let's say he's just gone to pick up a few crates of eggs, or to collect his 90-year-old Grandmother. Why would he want to rag his car given the...

    BMW E30 325i Project

Nice driveway there Mike, and the more I see that Mon-ark-o the more I like it. Now it's time to dig out your old cassettes and roll with the top down, summer's here!

Very impressive, looking forward to seeing them on the car but as stand alone items they look quite special!

Help with ph2 rear window measurement

Well, it's Oli's car I'll be in, so it will be getting a little splash of pink here & there... ssshhhhh... It's a disciplinary offence if I drive to work. On the plus side I do get paid £85 a month not to use a space, plus they provide regular & free shuttle buses from all over town. All...

Help with ph2 rear window measurement

I was at work where I'm not allowed a car park space, and I needed to know for urgent Le Mans preparation ;) Thank you for your concern x

    Le Mans 2013

I'm definitely up for a bit of GAZ-e-BO action. How do you fancy being in charge of sourcing one, atouba?

Help with ph2 rear window measurement

Can someone tell me the length of the rear side windows please? Ideally, measured at the bottom of the glass, from the B-pillar to the C-pillar. Thanks

    Le Mans 2013

We will be 8... with umbrellas/parasols ;) Any suggestions on where to source a fridge? I think Oli is sorting our electricity hookup so it only seems right that we take full advantage (of the facilities, not him... although... ahem).

    Le Mans 2013

How important is that we also take a gazebo, given that we'll have a 10-man tent with a central communal area already...?

    Trophy!

It's suede all the way round, all over, apart from the centre and I have absolutely no idea whether it offers a weight saving or increase over standard. The horn issue is resolved by fitting a Phase 1 indicator stalk (which has a horn button on the end). Several times I've struggled to find...

The Failsport Art Car. Le Mans Chariot.

How are things progressing with the pasta exterior appearance, or did that idea go down the penne?

    Trophy!

One of the best mods I've done - I can remember how it used to feel with the standard wheel but I can't get my head round how big it was, I'll never be able to go back. The Sabelt wheel is so tactile too, it just urges you to push on, and provides so much more in the way of feedback (although...

    Eibachs or Mark Fish.....

I have Sportlines and don't think they offer any visible ride height difference to standard springs. On the plus side, the benefits, especially at low-speed on broken surfaces makes the car a much more comfortable place to be. At speed they are equally competent. Win-win! The MF springs...

    iPhone 5.

If I click Settings then access the General menu and then the Usage sub-menu it shows Tapatalk 2 as using 1.2 GB. Why so much, and what can I do to reduce it (without having to de-install and re-install the app)? How much does yours use? For info, I use Tapatalk 2 to access just three forums.
