The first photo of mine on the car it doesnt look too good. the other two show how deep the gloss is.
This is what i used on my wheels mate. Same stuff as Chris has posted up there^^^.
Difference is night and day from halfords lacquer. It goes on so well and is really hard to mess up tbh. One coat and it comes out great. One can does about 3 wheels (2 coats on each). Or two coats on mirror...
Very nice. Looking to do this kind of thing in the summer as i havent booked a holiday yet. Still undecided on whether to stay in the UK or head into Europe:S
+1 ive driven to trax and last years fcs on the mornings. really easy drive and roads are empty. Usually leave around 3 o clock too coming home and its just as good.
They look like spreader plates to me.
Basically just a big plate with a threaded hole through it. I think all you have to do is drill a hole in the floor, through the car. Place the spreader plate underneath (get a mate to hold it) and then screw the eyelet into it from inside the car...
Cheers mate. Im sure the picture will be up soon, a bird (not the good kind) emptied its insides onto my wing. Luckily there was a carwash 5 metres away and the guy got a bucket of hot water and washed it off for me.:clown:
Thats right^^^
I bought this last week i have the packaging still infront of me.
82 00 689 102
Stud and the bolt taped to the packaging.
Edit: one bolt was in the packaging on the stud and the other was seperate taped to the outside. Not sure if it all comes as one though?

Ive been under the car a lot and they look fine ie. not split, no leaks.
Right my car slowly started to develop a induction type noise, vibration between 2-3k rpm.
I changed the top engine mount, no change.
Started to get worse.
I changed the dogbone mount
Carried on getting worse
Changed the upper gearbox mount under the battery.
Really got worse.
Slackened mounts...
Not a fan of the odd yellow bits everywhere very over done now. If you like it though that's all that matters.
I'm envious of the pearl black though lol. Was looking for a ph1 for three months and all I saw was titanium :(
Cheers everyone.
It's lowered on eibach sportlines. Just bought a used pair off here to make it look respectable. Coilovers when funds allow.
Wiper blank I made myself. Sanded it flatish then stuck some wire mesh on the back and filled the hole with fibreglass. Then filler and paint...
The Clio in the picture is mine. When I bought it, 17s, crap tyres, cam timing was slightly off. So not exactly good performance wise.
Previously I had a vtr. Rated it really highly, they perform really well with breathing mods. Mine was rr'd at 110.9 with a supersprint exhaust, decat and a...
It rubbed a tiny bit on the rear if you really really hammered it round a bend but from reading on here a 3mm spacer or 185 tyres sorts that.
I had 5 people in it quite a few times and it never rubbed.
Definately worth it, if your going to lower it do it properly atleast 60mm. anything...
