Mines the same. It's defo painted or powdercoated so I'm gonna hit it with sum 2000 and polish. If it comes up s**t I'll repaint it. Iirc I read it on here a new knob and stalk is only £30ish from Renault?

Does everyone use high temperature paint or is any paint good?

I ditched mine.

Mine had no 5k kick and was just generally a bit slow. Didn't sound very meaty either. My dads doing the cambelt ATM. The inlet cam is slightly off so he can't get the locking tools on. Probably caused from the previous cambelt change. They either didn't use the cam locking tools or the ones...

I've seen pictures of retrimmed wheels and they looked quite bad compared to mine. That's why I thought it was standard. Alarm is aftermarket, not an import. How much do we think it's worth then I'm struggling to pinpoint a price.

Do you have two lambda sensors? If they are the same try swapping them around?

I will just fit the catback then get a custom decat made up. Then they will be able to adjust the length to suit the bumper.

Cheers I'll shop around for the cambelt. Aux belt Kit sounds about right though? I thought it was a bit steep as the belt on it's own is only £20 ish? The tensioner is what costs the most.

I was looking to get a decat aswell tbh. Is there two different lengths of decats sold for the 172?

I have the single lambda twin barrel version. This is the shorter version right? So if I was to fit a ph2 exhaust it would be an inch too short. What if I were to get a ph2 decat?

I'm puzzled because it's in mint condition. Doesn't look like a retrim. Just searched the forum. Apparantly a new one is £328. Retrimmed ones are £130. How much is mine worth. Pics coming soon.
