Always first. Wheel cleaner on the wheels, pre wash the bodywork, snowfoam bodywork, clean wheels and arches, jet wash it all off then clean the bodywork. If you wash them last by the time you have finished you will have watermarks.:dead:

It is actually going in my friends car. is 4 awg cable ok as that is what he has. Ill have the user manual and paper work for the sub later on, so i should be able to find out whether it is dual 2 or 4 ohm. I think its dual 4 though

The spec for the sub says impedance: 4 ohms. Would i need to connect it up in series or parralell?

Isit a dual voice coil sub to have connections like that?

I have never fitted a monoblock amp like this so i dont really know what to do with the speaker connections part. Here is my best paint skillz for ya. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks

Get some mdf baffles in there to give the speakers a better, more secure mounting. Id reccomend these: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-tsq131c-renault-p-5922.html They are made for renaults so you dont even have to crimp any cables, just plug them in. They will be ok without an amp...

Tint film. I think i remember seeing some on ebay. Remove foglights. Take apart to expose the lamp. Put the tint film on. Re assemble.

If you want a normal/ fun newer car get the c2 or a polo gti. If you want something that is fast/ handles well, get a vts or a gti.

Might be able to take the car to a scrappy and ask them to weigh it if they have the right apparatus to do so. Weigh it before you remove the stuff then do it again after to see how much you have achieved.:)

Is it old? it may still be under warrenty. Just get an auto electrician imo.

Id leave that one if there is no service history. Dont take peoples word for it that its had the belts done as some wont even know what they are, they will just say yes. Make sure it has a stamp in the book from a garage. Trim can be easily restored but if there is scrapes on it, it would need...

Chase the wall out. Mini trunking or capping over the cable. Plaster it. Can you not try going behind the plasterboard first? Isit a fairly new house?

I mixed hammerite. I bought some smooth gold and it was too bright for my liking so i added some hammered effect silver and it came out oright tbh.

Manifold gasket. My mate has the same problem and from looking at it last night, im thiinking manifold asket as the sound was a bit "tinny".
