Do the engine bay first get it cleaned and dried, then: Pre wash, Squirt down the lower half of the car with apc. spray on wheel cleaner, go round the door shuts badges fuel cap with a soft brush, clean all the wheels, arches, snowfoam, then wash and follow on the other steps...

put the plates on at an angle oildrum, small bike, hay bail on the roof rack slammed so it always scrubs dished steelies. paint the dish a wild colour and leave the rest to rust. chalkboard bonnet trotters independant traders stickers up the side lol?

Apc and a nail brush. The tyre shine will last longer and look better once its applied on a really clean surface.

Could be fibreglass and gelcoat. Its like a plasticy resin which is sprayed on. A lot of boats have it.

I have never seen anybody paint the lucas parts mate

Its probally just primer if it is primer colour. Unless it is a simaler colour paint which was laquered.

Good effort but not for me. Hardly looks black and why would you want to show of Lucas? A decent brand like Comp brakes or Brembos, but Lucas? No thanks. If you like it though ignore me.

They both look clean compared to mine.

There is another one i have seen on here red with black alloys, and all the grills were colour coded red too.
