just use common sense when doing up the bolts. not too hard so that you're going to snap them and not too loose that they will come undone.
As for the wheels, i use 100 lbs pressure. some people use more some less personal preference.
there are plenty of guides around and anything you are not sure of people will explain to you. everyone on heres pretty helpful so they could give you a list of products if you decided to do it yourself.:)
my first install i had it all over on the left hand side. the spare is on the right and is roughly where the split in the rear seats are as said. when i decided to get the amp and sub i have now i wanted to put it all on that one side but after measurements it just would not fit so i had to do...
:approve:
A bit tiddier now though but i only have phone pictures.
You can see where i keep my spare wheel but i only have it in there during the week when im working.
once you have worked ther polish in enough by machine there should be hardly nothing left of it. just use a microfibre to wipe off any spots of residue that may be still on the paint.
Pretty easy mate just clean the edges up and copper grease them. and clean all the brake dust from where the edges of the pads touch the caliper. Theres a guide here shamefully stolen from somewhere but it should help you. I know all cars are different btw before anyone says it...
Really easy mate. i done it on mine.
Open the tail gate
Two screws on the left, Two on the right and two in the middle all torx.
You should have a torx in your tool kit if you dont have one around.
Once all the screws are out you will need to prise it off. it is held on by a few clips...
Suppose i could look into the mk1. Would be good to stay with a clio as you can learn so much from this place. they are quite light so must be quick the same as the saxo vtr/ vts:D
Rust puts me off a lot though.
cant really see it being better than other sealants on the market that are meant for paint. rain x has been out for years if it were to work well on paint im sure everyone would be using it over any waxes. leave it on your glass imo
as said get the best tyres you can afford. upgrade the brake hoses, fluid, pads and disks.
id say get some coilovers. little bit pricey but you can sell them once you get back.:)
they will need extending mate. make sure you label any which are the same colour before you cut them then just get a new piece of wire and solder it in or crimp them.
