would be good to see what the weight difference is between the electric and manual windows. most people doing a track car would normally just put the fixed windows with the slideable flap.
what wheels have you got on the car mate the black ones with the red lip?
ooo lucky. yeh mate you should just need the winder and the mechanism.
best thing to do would be to go to the scrappy and find a mk2 poverty spec and steal the whole lot from inside the door card. it should be the same but maybe someone could confirm for definate.:)
im assuming the car originally had electric windows?
will need the whole mechanism which sits behind the door card then you need to drill a hole of your carbon fibre:eek: and mount the winder through it. best of getting it from a scrappy or go to renault and buy it.
some headunits have poor earths so it could be that.
some rca leads are shite so could be that.
your amp earth might be poor.
i can only remeber vaigly on how to trace it but do a search for a guy called wallop on here and look at his posts and you will find your answer in there.
you...
put quite a bit of tyre shine on then paint the letters with tip ex. stand back and make up your mind. if it looks good then you can buy the tyre pen and do it. if not then it should just wash off.
when the car is unloaded the headlight adjustment should be at its highest point. when you fill the boot up or have people in the back you are meant to adjust them down.
so it sounds to me like they are shining too high. are they clipped in right? they may need the lens adjusting as you may...
im currently doing this mate. scrapped a wall right by the fog light so there was two deep scuffs either side of the fog light.
paint was £16 i think from renault
started by filling the holes. not too thickotherwise it would take days to sand down the filler put one spread on then used 180...
i spent a stupid amount of time masking up my handles to spray them. the pull part does come out though which i found out after. just a spring on the back and it comes apart.
get a small screwdriver down one end off it and prise it off. if its the same as mine the big oval shape one there will be a little indent at one end so you can get something in there to prise it out.
run new wires from the 6x9s to the rear door cards. cut off the connector on the speaker wire and whack on some straight through crimps. will sound awful though:dead:
Perfect answer there^ no point going any harsher than 180 because you will just spend to much time removing the scatches that the paper has left. As said use it dry when its just filler. once you have a coat of primer on there you can wet sand.:)
When i done mine mate i didnt actually remove the rear door card part. what i done was pulled the bottom half of the seats out then i pulled the rubber seal away from the door and pulled the trim off from a couple of clips then you have to lift it off from the window edge. it should come away...
