wouldnt bother with the standard headunit. a new one will give you much better sq rather than using the hi level input. have you thought about getting decent set of components and amping them rather than 6x9s?

Well from the way i read the OP i would assume he... eg. washes his car once a week and then during the week wanted to give his car a going over with QD inbetween washes. ?

He said between washes. if the car was dirty, then i reccon it will make swirl marks dont you? if not why do you wash your car just use QD all the time:)
