This car just keeps getting better - MPG has improved since getting the belts done..!
It’s gone from 69-70 to 74-75mpg average.
Filled up when the fuel light came on - £57 gave me this range..
You can leave the heating controls as they are and just do an a/c and pas delete set up.
I’d definitely swap the rear beam over - no chance I’d keep drums on, unless @Brigsy can say different? You’ve got the 182 master cylinder and everything to swap over, so should be straight forward enough?
This is crazy.. how you think people on the internet can diagnose a car with such vague description baffles me.
Yes, there are common faults - but in order for it to even be diagnosed as common fault, a good description or codes need to be given.
Given the cat did throw up a code, yes - that...
No idea why you wouldn’t have changed the discs and pads together, with them being changed so close together - your just doing the job twice.
As long as your discs aren’t totally worn with lips on the edges that’ll wear through the pads, you should be fine.

Update - 04.09.2019
Collected the car from the garage today after having the;
1) Timing belt kit
2) Water pump
3) Coolant
4) Aux belt
£320 inc labour @130,259 miles
To say the car is feeling good now is an understatement. It drives 10000X better compared to the day I bought it...

Exactly the same issues as what you stated. But without the glow plug light on. Maybe I changed mine sooner than...
Are the FN2’s keyless entry?
I wouldn’t worry about the Clio - it’s 9/10 they’re after keyless entry cars these days. Theyre a lot less hassle to get in and started without smashing anything. A £2-3k Clio wouldn’t (IMO) be worth the risk over a newer more expensive car with keyless.
I’ve finally bit the bullet...the car is going to a garage to get the cambelt/water pump and aux belt done..
I don’t feel confident enough to have a go at timing - for the pure fact that the car runs/drives so well, I don’t want to ruin the car by taking on a task I’ve not done before.
Timing...
Jesus - surprised you’ve bothered buying bits for the DCI engine... the van sounds like it’s on a thread of hair for life.
I’d just bite the bullet and find a 172 for a donor and get it done. I wouldn’t spend another penny on the DCI parts.
The underside bolt on parts (lower arms etc) all...
