If you’ve got spare cash, I’d just buy a lump and leave it under a cover until you need it. Could tidy the spare engine up slowly. Do the belt on it etc.

Can you give some more info on the conversion please? Can you use the Kangoo fuel tank/pump etc?

I think if your looking at freeing up money, turbocharging a Clio isn't the best option - it'll be eating your money in repairs.
Over a reliable Megane.
You could get a second set of wheels for the Megane cheap enough and put part worn track tyres on them.
Simple. Sort the compression and continue. It doesn't need to go further down the money pit route IMO.
Standard base/internals is reliable.
Sorting the compression is peanuts in comparison and then just get it back on the RR for mapping.
Tips;
1) label all the wiring loom, so you know exactly what goes where on re-fit.
2) when you take the bolts out and remove a part, but the bolts back in the area they came out of. So easy to mix them up.
3) your going to need a tray for coolant and gearbox oil when you pull the drive shafts...
I thought you didn't have an LSD, but thought I'd ask, as I can see that inside wheel spinning when it's lifting.
An LSD would completely transform the car, especially on your over steer, you can just power out of it and not loose much momentum. An LSD would be my first 'go to' mod after...
Really loving these vids, I think you've got a good balance between in car and and other track cars/fly bys etc. Proper good.
I think you could get away with doing 2 vids per track day, the ones your currently doing, to entertain the masses, then I think you could add a link in for the purists...
