That’s a DCi!? Sounds like a 172! Lol
Does anyone have more info on the 68 DCi? If it’s got the 100 box and intercooler, is there a chance it’ll have the injectors on a lower map?
Can anyone confirm if the later 65’s came with an intercooler?
I’ve bought a 55 plate 65 DCi and it’s got an intercooler on it. A standard plastic one?
I didn’t think they did.
Evening all,
I thought I’d start a thread on this car, due to it actually being a good example and a lucky find (IMO)
Bit of background info:
I’m currently in the middle of renovating an old cottage, which has meant I was enjoying a 1.2 Clio Bangernomics for tip runs and carrying materials...
Just picked mine up today ? non-sunroof model thankfully. I wouldn’t have gone and viewed it otherwise. 2005 (55) 4 owners(2 were husband and then wife) , 117k
Almost full service history, minus cambelt, so I’m getting that sorted ASAP.
Love it already.
Going to change it to 182 interior also.,
The Mk2 DCi’s are becoming quite hard to get hold of now, eBay seems to be cluttered with cheap Mk3’s now.
I’m going to view a mk2 DCI Wednesday- hoping it’s a good one.
LOVE IT...!!!
I’m also a huge fan of chunkier tyres.
They’re transformed the car from a city show cruiser to something that looks like it’ll go on a track.
Love them in standard condition! With the stripes. I actually forgot they came with stripes because everyone takes them off.
Enjoy it and look after it! :)
So nice to see pictures of them with the original stripes on. I’ve not seen one with the stripes on for donkeys. So long that I’d forgotten they did come with stripes! Lol
If that was me, I’d just drill a tiny hole either side of the crack and stick a zip tie through it. You can’t see that part of the bumper when the bonnet is down anyway.
He’s had it a year already!? ? it sounds like nothings progressed either?
How do you keep track of how many days labour are being charged etc?
I think it’s time to sit down with him, as what’s been said above.
What an awesome trip. I think reading a road trip and looking at stunning pictures like above is my favourite thing on a forum.
It makes me want to go straight onto google maps and get planning another myself.
Can you give us more info about the bike, what mileage/mpg per tank you can do on...
