Personal choice at the end of the day. Just look at what is available, what it costs etc and go from there.
I looked at all those available and read reviews from people, not just on this site. Chose the FK ones cuz they use Koni internals, are TUV approved (so tested on the car) and came...
All I do know is its a bugger. Part dont cost much but BB had fun and games swapping mine when they noticed it needing doing at time of cambelt change.
FK Automotive coilovers. Got mine for £480 from Performance Driven in Taunton. They offered frr fitting at the time and may still do it if you ask. Apparently they use koni internals and come with a lifetime guarantee if fitted by FK Automotive supplier.
Think Tarox also do some replacement calipers for standard sized disk. Number is in discounts section and you have to phone I think as email was no good.
Some Red dot disks on ebay at £50, front either in 6 or 20 groove. Maybe a good option for you. Magnex full exhaust starting at £35. Fuel filter can be done yourself. About 6 quid from GSF. Get new clips for ends of pipe from local motorist shop for about 1 quid. Although if you have to...
Eons should have a bigger gap than what you usually use anyway so I would leave them.
Think people haev been selling them dirt cheap on ebay. Use them myself but picked up some Denso iridiums for silly money so using them next.
HT leads, Dizzy cap, rotar arm, spark plugs, coil and battery should all be checked. I ended up replacing all apart from coil when mine did this last month. Even with this lot replaced (dizzy was shot by the way 8years old) the car would not turnover and had to be bump started. Fine since.
Also,
Surf the net if you can. Elephant, esure, more than are 3 good sites to try and usually cheapest. Give you a fair idea of quotes before ringing around.
Elephant gives you an option to fiddle about with your quote so you can higher/lower excess, value of car, add drivers or take...

Yeah always had mine done at National and even though they are arsey still go there. They fill it up to full on dipstick and do a good job. Just hardly have teh filter in stock. Because once they kept on getting the wrong filter I got one from GSF. Everytime since they say theyll do it if I...
Bugger to fit though. Rounded unions on the norm, even with the proper union spanner. Use some plus gas or whatever its called several hours before hand and it might help you get the old ones off.
Bloody weird all this production run stuff and dont think any1 got to the bottom of it. Could they have all been buillt and then numbers put on? As it seems weird that 001 is LHD and then 002 RHD and if 003 is in France LHD or imported RHD?
And 409 on Autotrader makes there more than 400 RHD...
My car came with a magnex cat back and K&N. Fitted a BMC CDA in place of the K&N and then, at cambelt change, got BB to fit a magnex decat and their chip. RR resulted in a figure of 148 so if 137 as standard, 11 bhp increase from those mods.
Id say its worth it as the chip, I find, makes the...
