lol You cant afford the insurance on a 182 to you plan on selling it and buying a 172, then using whats left to insure it. I think you need to take a step back and make a proper decision about whether you can afford a car at all.
No but it can be bypassed. I did it to my old ph1 172. Bought a kit after it failed to disarm and left me stranded. Fitted the kit so it started fine, then cut a wire under the glove box to stop the light flashing. Simples.
I went over a set of speed bumps the other day, and since then the front of the car creaks when I turn the steering.
I've done some searching which suggested thetop mounts, anyway I had abit of a play and if the wheel is jacked up off the ground it doesn't creak, I also reckon the noise is from...
As the 182 exhaust is well known to rot and fall to pieces, and a replacement is £700ish from Renault, most people upgrade to stainless steel.
So do people tell their insurance about it or would it not matter?
Or has anyone ever had a problem with this when trying to make a claim?
Thanks
Yeah or go and see a doctor to make sure he is actually ok? Worry about any sort of claim at a later date.
Or maybe I'm old fashioned and doctors aren't for checking you are ok anymore!
Let's not beat around the bush, how much did you pay or the car? How much did you sell it for? I'm slighty offended that you think an artic 182 looks exactly the same as a 1.6 aswell!!
Could anyone post up quick instructions on removing the bacboxes on a 182? ie is there a particular order to make life easier?
Mine already has a sleeve between the rear and mid sections.
Thanks
£116 for a bulb basically. I had the same problem last year, went to the scrap yard and picked a second hand bulb holder and part of the loom I needed for £5!
It took me 6 months of emails to plusnet before I gave up on them. They kept sending me emails full of jargon, similar to what the op has put in his original post, which to most people means nothing.
After 6 months and various emails ( they wouldn't give me a phone number, just e-tickets) I...
What an interesting read, 13 pages and I still don't understand what the op is onabout!
I might have missed it, but did you not test drive it first?
Did you not think that it would just be a faster, better handling, fuel drinking big brother to your 1.6?
What else do you want it to do?
