Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
I think it does look "apple". Its a sensible design, they have lost s**t loads of money because of the problems with the battery and the ceramic back of the current models. This solves the problem and should have been expected.
Its a shame that the back...
Re: iPhone 4G Rumours
Software? Everything you mention there is hardware related! lol
Unless they do something radical with the new one, I wont be upgrading from my 3GS.
I'm pretty sure they wont do anything radical either, they have enough fan boys to keep them in business without...
Could anyone say how essential it is to have the water pump changed along with the cambelt? I've just been quoted £360 +vat for both belts and waterpump which seems quite reasonable anyway.
You NEED to tell your next insurer without a doubt! It's a myth that genuine Renault parts aren't counted as a modification!
I don't see why you are getting silly quotes, unless its because you are declaring all the modifications. The most I ever paid was £1000 in my first year of driving...
cit ren are a bunch of monkeys, I drove 150 miles to pick up a bonnet in Artic blue, when I got there, they told me they had sold it, even though allegedly at 4pm the day before, they had put it to one side for me...
They offered me a scratched bonnet off a 172 cup instead...dick heads!
My 05 182 still has the original exhaust on it. I have noticed that the weld on one of the back boxes to the tailpipe is blowing.
I can recall being told a long time ago that if an exhaust is blowing after the back box, it would not fail an MOT. Is this correct? Or is it time to start...
Just "downgraded" mine. Went from 600 mins and 500 texts (£35) to 300 mins and unlimited texts at £30 a month!
Suits me better as I rarely use all the minutes, but often nearly run out of texts!
The clocks issue is more than a "fault" that has been rectified. I still think you have grounds to reject the car as you were never informed of the clock change at the point of purchase.
So if I am 6 months into a 24 month contract, I can change onto the new 18 month contract for the remainder of my term?
Or can I switch to the new 24 month contract for the remaining 18 months?
2x front tyres
Rear discs and pads
repair to brake line
cv boot
6 months tax
£470 in a month
Coming up
2x exhaust hangers
Wipers
new fog light
£50ish I reckon
Then 1400 miles to go until the belts are due, so probably get them done in a month or so.
Bad times!
Indeed they are just cosmetic but you have to question what sort of previous owner would have those kind of lights on a 182...boy racer springs to mind!!
Sounds like they are dragging their heels now. I would get the letter prepared so you can send it first class recorded as soon as they tell you where by phone!
It might be worth having a look on here..

Some useful information on rejecting cars. It also mentions that the finance company are equally responsable. Perhaps if you aren't confident about writing a letter, find a friend or...
