Give the r26 a clean last Sunday. Weather was a bit fcuking fresh but needed doing badly after Saturdays blast out/pebbledashed by the gritter so was covered in salt. Also with the weeks of rain the car was covered in a black residue and black lines all over the panels.
I have also...
Usually end up twanging my fingers on them with waterpump pliers  I need another set as i broke 3 cheapos on the bounce. My mate rates the snap on ones as reliable at howfuckingmuch to buy.
Cheap enough that. From experience, the flexi hose clamp pliers wont last long. Had a few break with barely any use.
About the same price on amazon iirc.
Edit - £15 on ebay

The shock allen key top rounds off on all shocks. Best off giving it a couple of ugga duggas with the gun to tighten from experience.
My b14 have 2x locking rings for the rideheight adjustment. Are you undoing the bottom one first? They will go tight if preloading the spring.
I think realistically no twocker will get a ph2 172/182 clio fired up without the key. Ive never seen an immob bypass or delete for ph2, and any trick software will be expensive/rare to find. Sometimes struggle to get them started with the key
Disklok is a great visual deterrent though...
Any powdercoat in the tapered hole the studs go in? That can cause the studs to loosen off.
You could go a bit tighter on bolts than 105nm, 110nm wont hurt anything. M12 x 1.5 10.9 bolt will do 125nm safely dry torque.
On the other hand, they can back off with track use. My megane r26 wheel...
You can run with anti rattle shims or without..i bin them for track use so no risk of pads nipping / binding. Make sure the pads have clearance.
Defo need bumpstops for the secondary damping, as they ride the bumpstops quite often.
Halfords torque wrenches are norbar iirc, decent, fair priced. Sealey premier not bad too.
Snap on clicker type come up cheap often 2nd hand. Reliable, get it calibrated and last a lifetime if looked after.
Avoid the real cheap torque wrenches, as years ago i had one fail to click whilst doing...
Updates.
Had a spare hour earlier so done a bit more to the turbo setup to keep progress moving.
Oil return finished with a short bit of stainless braided hose, an10 fittings and firesleeve. Its solid enough, but will prob make a small bracket to hold it when in situ.
Id say its good enough to...
Few hours on it today.
New gasket in situ, both sides metal so hopefully will last a bit longer.
Back together. Give it a wipe over to clean.
Battery back on, primed up fuel system with ign on and off a few times and good to go. laptop on to check sensors reading ok. Primed oil system up by...
Disklok all day long, fairly solid/too much hassle for most twockers.
You can get a nice bag with velcro on to store in the boot, saves them flying all over the car.
Updates.
Extra van only moved once last year and has been laid up ever since. To recap it needed a bit of work doing, inlet gasket was leaking on cyl 1 causing a bit of noise on boost and a fuelly mix coating the inlet, and down on power but not by much. I had the parts in stock, but lacking...

More turbo pipework mock ups. The oil return pipe on these g25 setup's is tight due to top mounted turbo and compact manifold design.
I done a bit of research on how the turbo return has been done on other kits and every method does not look great being honest.
1st attempt..an10 pipe...

210k service for the blue dci on Sat.
The drum on the o/s was annoyingly squeaking on low speed braking, which is always brake dust related after new shoe run in. Also cleaned and resolved.
Thanks for reading!!
