Should see a bit more done tomorrow if all goes well.
Mk1 laguna all dissolved now, but can gaurantee if they have dodged the scrapyard the splitter is missing
Laguna splitter prob look decent too. Must be rare now
Quick airbag ecu recalibration and cruise control diagnostics on a nice RB 182 this morning.
Airbag took 2 mins. Cc was bad switch and issues with squib wiring. Easy work.
Update.
Been looking for a front splitter for a while as always felt like the kangoo front bumper could look a little better at the bottom. From looking around there is nothing decent available in the uk suprisingly especially with modified vans being more of the norm these days. I did see this...
Yep got the DeWalt for the big stuff, im going to upgrade it to a m18 fuel one soon so full team red.
I do like the compact size of the 3/8 stubby, will make life easier when in wheel arches etc.
Update.
Boot lock solenoid failed to commence on the orange dci. After several replacements in the past its a ten min job to swap.
Trim off.
Offending locking solenoid, one torx screw and out
When it failed last time i bought a chinese spec solenoid off ebay. Fitted that and remembered why i...
Made a start this evening.
Cars shuffled about so loads of room in the garage.
Front up.
Soon be in bits.
Reyland/Wilwood combo.
Will get cracking tomorrow.
Does seem decent from initial test. I do like the bolt tightening setting that just nips up.
Ive geared up with shallow and deep impact 3/8 sockets. I guess it might struggle if using extensions or adaptors.
Just got myself a milwankee m12 3/8 fuel stubby impact 1st gen to test the water to see if it will be of use.
Noted massive difference in output when using the 6Ah batteries compared to 2ah. I guess thats normal from what i read?
Update.
Been using the orange dci this week. Was sat there with half a tank of fuel and not moved for a few weeks so seemed sensible to get it used. Started up as normal no dramas, however when driving noted a bit of vibration/pulsing from o/s wheel when braking. Discs had a bit of rust on so...
Updates.
Had a bit of spare time so in prep for Croft next week, flushed brake and clutch fluid and fitted the ds1.11 in the front.
Old fluid was around a year old/3 trackdays. Pedal was still solid but needed doing to save any issues. Stuck probe in to check and confirmed.
Not good
Usual...
Which kit is it, also interested. My b14s are for 60mm hubs and have top hole of front strut slotted from memory for adjustable camber, and larger monotube dampers.
Update.
With the weather improving ive woke the 250 up. Was pretty uneventful, the garage is nice and dry so no rust on brakes or nothing. Stuck battery negative terminal back on and it fired up like it was running yesterday settling down to a normal idle. Short drive to the house and all seems...
Updates.
Mot'd and taxed this week and done a few miles. All good just drives as normal.
Needed to collect a r26 rear beam from Newcastle yesterday. All of the current legal cars are small and the r26 has a cage in so thats off the menu and i couldnt be arsed shuffling cars to get the extra...
Common issue, adjuster has broke. Can be replaced, but fiddly but doable
