I got a cheap pattern one last time and the latch was not great, however i managed to swap the microswitch to the original and it works ok.

I do and can make the back end a little lively. Great for turn in on track etc. Not so good on the road in wet etc.

Quick airbag ecu recalibration and cruise control diagnostics on a nice RB 182 this morning. Airbag took 2 mins. Cc was bad switch and issues with squib wiring. Easy work.

Noticed the same dim boot light a few times when the boot switch is worn in the latch. Sorts itself out when changed.

Yep got the DeWalt for the big stuff, im going to upgrade it to a m18 fuel one soon so full team red. I do like the compact size of the 3/8 stubby, will make life easier when in wheel arches etc.

Made a start this evening. Cars shuffled about so loads of room in the garage. Front up. Soon be in bits. Reyland/Wilwood combo. Will get cracking tomorrow.

Does seem decent from initial test. I do like the bolt tightening setting that just nips up. Ive geared up with shallow and deep impact 3/8 sockets. I guess it might struggle if using extensions or adaptors.

Just got myself a milwankee m12 3/8 fuel stubby impact 1st gen to test the water to see if it will be of use. Noted massive difference in output when using the 6Ah batteries compared to 2ah. I guess thats normal from what i read?

Updates. Had a bit of spare time so in prep for Croft next week, flushed brake and clutch fluid and fitted the ds1.11 in the front. Old fluid was around a year old/3 trackdays. Pedal was still solid but needed doing to save any issues. Stuck probe in to check and confirmed. Not good Usual...

Clutch is cable so wont be that. Sounds like box has expired sadly.

Ive seen the plastic socket snap off before. Repairable with epoxy resin or similar if you strip the light

Which kit is it, also interested. My b14s are for 60mm hubs and have top hole of front strut slotted from memory for adjustable camber, and larger monotube dampers.

Not seen that spacer before! I dont think mine has it however never had the rear bilsteins off. Id fit them as oem/ @MrBlonde suggested above.

Them sliders are usually pretty tight in the caliper, first one ive seen like that. Easy fix.

I done mine a while back, reasonably easy. Angled long nose pliers work well for the job.

If fuelling is adjusted correctly it will most likely be a little bit better when driving normally.

Cant see a problem using either cap, both do the same job.
