Shez said she has all the pics from the advert, if you pm me your email address will get her to send them over.
Still waiting to seal the deal on the new one but should be coming at some point ;) Might move my gtt on whilst waiting.

Been looking for a 6 speed shifter for a Kangoo and they are quite thin on the ground as most are 5 speed. As its a dash mounted shifter needed the proper one really.
Sniffed one out on ebay in Latvia, off a lhd model. Was fairly expensive but stuck an offer in which was accepted. Took...
Glad its gone to a good home enjoy mate, a pleasure to do business with :) drive looks empty with a car missing ! Shez is buzzing that it is still called Bumble.
I always planned on sorting the exhaust out and giving the yellow interior bits a super clean but never got round to it.
Found some...
That V8 Cygnet looks mad, what did that do on the vmax?
Interesting to hear about the vbox accuracy, ive got one here, used it at Brunters years agoin my gtt 131mph vmax
Rear beam fitting time. Best check wheels fit i guess.
Ahh thats a no then, fouls the handbrake cable and the fecking centre of wheel fouls the caliper
Measured up the hub centre protrusion and its 20mm, so ordered 10mm slip on Pms spacers to suit meg2 and longer bolts to suit.
Wait a few...
As above id would be looking at the calipers to see if they are sticking, change fluid etc. Have the calipers got the anti rattle shims in? if yes bin them, and make sure the pads have a mm or so of play so they do not bind in the caliper when hot...

Meg 250 has been sold, its gone to a great home though. Little bit sad to see it go as had very light use off us in 2.5 years we had it. Already got eyes on another car to replace it, which will be epic ;)
A few pics of it all cleaned up, great looking car.
Thanks for reading!
Cheers mate, miss the old kangoo a little bit to be fair.
Mine was on cup 172 suspension up front. rear arch lips were rolled flat, gaz clio 16v shocks on the back, drum beam with 10mm spacers.
I initially had cup turinis on et38.5 from memory, caught so clearanced the arches, added -2.5deg...
I used to put mine on 2 wheels on the apex on track and no rubbing, apart from destroying the os bumpstop at Blyton on the large kerb at the ump  Was hilarious, miss flogging it round the track
Mine was ok on cup shocks and mark fish eibach springs, you need the bumpstops fitted or it will catch.
Best off spacing the front wing out a bit on the lower mounting point, and shave the arch lip. -2.5deg neg camber helped too, assuming you have plenty dialled in with it used on track.
Proper road trip (y)
Low 50mpg sounds about right at 80mph, need to be under 70 for 60’s really.
I wouldnt worry too much about a bit of oil consumption over 3k miles, providing its not totally dry. Mine uses a bit too, but not excessive, i think Ren say a ltr over 1000miles is...
Progress update on the chode/noddy van/shortarse.
Basically nothing has happened but have gathered loads of parts. Enough to build up the new engine.
Found the rare 250 inlet manifold. Need to make an adaptor plate to suit the r26 throttle body.
Fuel rail will have the reg removed, inlet and...

Ac is still working awesome (touch wood) have stayed nice and cool in the current heatwave. No regrets at all spending a small fortune recomissioning it.
My mate was breaking a dci so robbed the front fogs as mine were knackered. Repaired the damaged o/s rear bumper bracket from...
Looked like a nail when up for sale cheap. Now an expensive nail, 5k with what looks to be rust on the o/s arch, high mileage, rough bodywork, prob loads of other stuff unseen:LOL:
Whilst apart i noticed the rear engine mount had split around the welds. Its done 800 miles running in mileage and mapping, hardly used.
Mount is a vibratechnics one. Proper flimsy piece of s**t really, only welded on one side, not cheap and not fit for purpose
I was highly annoyed over this...
Renault Extra oil leak saga.
After mapping i noticed a leak on the crankshaft side of the sump. Jacked it up and could see oil running from crank area. So stuck it in the garage and left it for a few weeks.
Had a weeks leave from work booked in so proceeded to drop subframe and take gearbox...
Kangoo conversion is easy really, just labour intensive. Exhaust is really the only custom bit needed. Mine was based on a cup, no ac, no abs and rear drums.
1k is fair, 2 weeks labour or a week if your really grafting.
250 cup and the battery saga.
Had an oldish Bosch battery on it which went flat over winter, had been hanging on for ages without regular use.
Feeling generous and like a reliable car so stuck a new Yuasa batt on from Halfords with trade discount so was quite cheap. Stuck it on and it started...

Been all over in the blue clio, trip to London a couple of weeks ago and plenty of miles local ish whilst at work. Aircon still ice cold touch wood, works great.
Oil change time as done 8k since last one. Ten min job with vac pump, invested in a cheap oil filter socket kit as the oil...
