Hey broo.
Welcome aboard.
Sounds like you've got yourself a fair bit of work there, but at least some of it's simple. YOu're in the right place to get the info though
slam it over those and it'd be well sik.
if you're going to lose half your suspension travel, it doesn't magtter what wheels you put on, it'll still be alergic to potholes and speed bumps.
anyway, bigger wheels are better wheels..... else why wouldn't all cars be on, like, 15's.
Just brace that chassis sir, it'll give the car a much better platform to work from. ;)
I see plenty of Mk.1 types spendin hundred on wel sik coiliez n giffin it stance (y0!). I guess they put show quite considerably above go, but they're wasting at least 50% of their outlay by not tackling one...
Failing that, most stealers will have at least half a dozen mk.1's in for breaking.
If you want to see how wrong a big shifter looks, look for the Mr. Plow MK.1 on here with snapped suspenion that everyone keeps beating themselves off about. It's got a s3x-toy shifter and just looks r****d
nah, seriously I can't say 'no' to long shifters in MX-5's enough. Again, only opinion
check your linkages for the niggle, a bit of fettling it'll be reet. Using more arm action to force the matter may only make things worse.
EH? Easier?
The shift in a 5 should be slick and precise, if you're having troubles either you have fists made entirely of pork chops or the car needs some fettling.
short shifter is much more in keeping with the car.
well, in my opinion, of course.
but even all that wont help get Murdoch TV off of the black mirror, onto the flatscreen.
Sod it, I'll just use my good ol Win7 lappy and run the flatscreen as a 2nd monitor.
They read that they should work fine, but that's Apple talking about stuff bought from iTunes Store I guess.
I do have a Slingbox knocking about that I could hook into a mates multi-room box, but then there's the chance his missus will swithc over to some shat channel half way through...
noticeable from inside the car, or outside?
That's the rub. It could be nearly silent from the drivers seat, but it's the noise it makes to everyone else that can be the embarassment
Yeah, I just wanted a one-stop, portable F1 viewer, Android isn't supported and an X-Box isn't all that portable.
Last year I could just iPlayer it all... and did. Fridays at work wont be the same now.
:(
Might be a tough call then, as from what I've seen (heard) aftermarket boxes all seem to be about making the car sound like an embarassment.
my 172 has OEM back box but when I replaced the centre section with a pattern part it definaltey changed the tone of the exhaust.
The only thing with OEM...
Morning all.
To all you iPad peeps, how good is the quality of picture when you output to a TV?
Looking at my options for F1, I've got Sky Go so may end up getting an iPad to stream through that, but if I connect up to a decent-size TV will I just be watching blocky, pixelated masses going...
Exhaust will give you no real improvement in output, but it will make more noise.
If you're going to remap etc, then fair enough, but if it's just to replace a dieing exhaust, I'd just still with an OEM exhaust.
I reckon iPad 3 will be required.
Just so I can use Sky Go for the F1 and hook ipad into TV.
Not anything to do with being able to watch Friday practice at work...no. not at all
Yep, you can get stalk adaptors easy enough and for a pitence.
you want the display to keep going, you'll need to fork out some more, and find the right lead
