Some more done to the heel and toe pedal today. Wanted to crack on with brake ducting but pissed down all day ! If it comes to it will whip arch liners out for Croft.
Got the note 9 up and running. Some awesome features on it, the face/iris recognition for unlocking is great. It does make you wonder how much information big brother is storing though !
The mind boggles reading some of the hate for this. Been out in the mrs 250cup today and they are fantastic
Id rather be seen in this than half the clios out there tbh
Not a lot 4gb or so ? Just wanted the bigger battery and screen and this deal came up. It was a toss up between this and P20 pro, sd card slot swung it.
From looking i think most good newish phones are £43+ a month now & iphone massive dollar..eyes out. No cheap deals unless massive upfront payment
its probably not broke, just noisy when labouring the engine?
Description far too vague prob airbox rattling or something or worn lower dogbone mount, poorly fitting exhaust the list is pretty much endless
Thought about the washers too that would probably do the job. Alloy sheet cost £2.50 will see how this fairs. Might adjust the height of the acc pedal if poss, looks like it can be removed and adjusted. Not sure where the optimum height will be though compared to brake pedal.
You shouldnt really be labouring the engine. Its probably a combination of worn engine mounts causing something to rub at a guess. Use the right gear for the speed required.
I cant remember how to reconfig multiplex would need clip in front of me. From memory you just set the relevant ecus to present or absent depending what you need. Think you need to go into the lambda fault finding part to reset throttle parameters etc. Thats about all you can do from memory ecu...
Wonky and rattled like fck on everything?
I had a BB2 that chucked all the baffles out leaving a 100yard trail of what looked like hair behind the car? baffle pipe started rattling about in the empty box as had rotted away. Whacked some 4” screws through the silencer to secure it as temp fix...
I have a few bits in stock for brake ducting, hopefully gte it on this weekend. Steels are quite weak, i have ultra rare et16 r5gtt cup car steels on my Extra and they bend for fun with a bit of kerb hopping on track. Ill stick with the heavy but solid 2118s on this as i know they can stand...
Good to meet you mate ? Had a good day at Trax, got offered a few track slots but didnt want to tempt fate and bust something with Croft coming up. Didnt get chance to see your ph1 as ran out of time, do you have a project thread on here ?
Big shoes = big socks ? I was going to fit mk1 clio 16v steels at one point but not much in the way of brake cooling
I was going to sell them on but sadly somebody has chopped them to fit around the footrest so prob not worth much. You should see the price of r5gtt rubber mats, ive seen them...
Ign leads wont have caused it, they can be on different cylinders without issue due to the wasted spark setup. Bottom end probably just knackered due to wear and tear, whats the mileage ? I would double check crank pulley or nothing on the aux side has fallen to bits
Nothing lasts forever...
I bought a bb4 for my mk2 astra in 1999. Increased the noise 100% and decreased performance. A year of road use and it looked like it had been in the sea it was that rusty ?
2x track vans
Extra has done Mallory park 3x, Blyton 3x, Croft, Teesside, Cadwell Park, Donington, Rockingham. Before track use it lived on the qtr mile, must have done 100+ runs over the years at various venues. Its still as far as im aware the fastest Extra in europe with a 12.67qtr & 4.1 sec...
Considered some reflective chevrons on the back for the motorway maintenance look too lol.
Ordered a small piece of 2mm alloy sheet to make a heel & toe accelerator pedal as struggling to heel and toe even with my size 11s. Marked out and ready to cut at the weekend.
