Clio 182 Water pooling on top of Renault sport treadplate

I'm new to the forum, I have just picked up a 182 ff black gold, after my first wash I noticed water on top of the drivers side tread plate could this be a roof seal needed? The end piece which tapers into the flat piece is loose from the body work but also on the other side and that doesn't get water on the tread plate. Thanks In advance

Added silicone behind this but still makes its way down

Normal. Doors don’t have a rubber seal all the way around.

As above normal, same for most cars.

They have drain holes in the bottom of the doors.

Doors aren't water tight inside.
