Re: Girl's reaction's to your Clio sports?
Michelle likes the Clio when it's running well.
SUre, we'd all like to lose the stripez but thats another thread
Of course, you all realise that whichever network you go with, you'll be paying pretty mach the same... unless it's an MVNO like Tesco or TalkMobile.
Either pay more for a handset up front or over a number of months, that's your choice.
And if you dont like paying so much for smartphones, don't...
in fairness, at the moment, given you're not going to be going "Hero of da twistiez", maybe a set of all-weather options would be a good idea?
Goodyear NCT's or similar?
dont know about the exhaust, but the rear lights are fairly simple, even I could do it (and I am mechanically useless).
If you look around in the boot you'll find twist-clips that you can remove the ligt cluster with. It comes out in one go. Remove the wiring, give the terminals some wire wool...
rubbery stuff that helps stop your panels rattling when you turn up the volume.
:)
Just to clarify, I'm no guru on the subject. MT AUdio is your man for genuine AV knowledge :)
they'll be fine, you've basically got 2 tweeters on the go at the moment.
But to get the most from your new speakers, probably worth disconnecting the dash-tweeters
Well, the Infinity tweets are likely to be better quality than the OEM ones, if you can be bothered, try them. Besudes, you've paid for them too!
As for the rears, they'll easily hack a 4X"60"w headunit, the OEM kit isn't all that bad at all. You could change them but you'd do better to spend...
I wouldn't bother spending £100 on speakers unless you're going to use an amplifier, in all fairness.
The tweeter covers twist off and you can get the tweets out with the dash in situ. As for taking it off not being a big deal, fair enough, but I dont have a box of tools, a garage or any skill...
If you're not using an amp, the standard rears will be fine.
I've not got the Pioneers yet, but I would do when I've got the spare pennies, they're supposed to be pretty good.
There are some Hertz Deici (SPelling?) which are supposedly a bit better, but more likely need dash-off tweeter...
To keep running components, you've got 2 choices really.
1) A set of "normal" components... but yuo'll need to get the dash off and rewire
2) http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-ts-q131c-renault.html
The Pioneers just need you to use existing wiring, the tweeters WILL be a sod to get out...
As much as it annoys me when I empty a full clip into someones chest only for them to then take me out with a throwing knife, I do prefer getting a chance to not die immediately.
