I know your pain, some tard did this to mine.
I knew who it was, but had no evidence.
although, funnily, they had just washed their car when I'd got back, first time ever I'd seen that happen. Trying to wipe off some black/gold paint by chance?
I just dont get it. I really just dont.
If it's clean, it's clean. It wont be for long anyway, it'll be covered in road grime within 3 miles anyway, so what you gonna do then? clan it again? More to life, there must be
I had an MG once.
Then snapped out of it and got a Clio instead.
I set of reliability problems for another, but at least it doesn't look like a Max Chavver special
And always check under the bonnet.
all 1*2's should have a 2-litre engine under the bonnet, irrespective of what wheels, interiors, wings and spoilers they have! ;)
This is exactly why I never understand why people spend hours of their weekend "detailing", when it only takes a short drive, some rain, or a flight of birds with loose bowels to put you straight back to square 1.
Of course, unles you've got a garage, and never drive anywhere, then fair enough!
good luck, just dont barrel-roll it into a primary school then expect the truth to not come out.
CS is everywhere, and Mace will find it on Google Street view..... if he hasn't already snapped it on his iPhone 5
Mace for official CS illustrator!
Photoshop can GTFO! Google Street view and iPhone 5 FTW!
Just noticeed the "Similar thread" box below, can we set-up a sticky thread of "I destroyed another clio" instead, it'll cut down on what are, when all said and done, just another strain of repost ;)
It was just a thought. Doesn't matter to me anyway, everything in mine is above board and declared.
but, to answer your question, some companies dont like mods of any type. Direct line refused outright to quote me on the old MX-5 just because someone had put different wheels on it before...
So, in respect to Jonny1*2's reply.
What mods are "invisible" to insurance assesors?
Remaps? Cams? sport Cats? non-stainless stealth back boxes? manifolds? Inlets? OEM-looking springs?
Speak for yourself.
Sorry chap, but those wheels are horrible, irrespective of size.
The rest has already been said.
True, there's no rule that says all clios must adhere to the given CS formula, but common sense should also intervene sometimes
That must be the ugliest thing I've seen since....... some other thread on here probably.
Loving the gear whine, yes it'd be awful for everyday, but so would that ground clearance.
Maybe EVO can take note when they remember to do something with their Veyrog!
Good luck with it.
Hopefully you can still adjust the brightness though, I wouldn't want all that glaring out of the dash when driving at night.
Hell, is there a SAAB-style "night-panel" kit out there?
that's not too bad, it's certainly better than not declaring them, broadsidsing a lamp post and getting nothing for it.
Elephant charge me £50 for "cosmetic modifications" (the stripes I cant get rid of) but were quite happy to not charge if I had a non-standard exhaust provided it didn't...
