was down Saafend the other weekend, went for a wander down the front to see what its like on a saturday night. Seemed like a massive vauxhall meet, not a clio to be seen though
Personally, no.
I prefer to save the money for general maintence and saving for a better vehicle.
I've used panel filters, and I've been told that a good panel in a standard clio airbox is the way forward. I did have one in my 172 before it got binned by Renault during a service. It gave a...
routing the cone to nearer the front and lower will give you potentially colder air, can't imagine it'd sound much different though.
you might get a 1/2 hp from it, maybe, but don't bet on it. Maybe you could get a V6 airbox on it? they're supposedly pretty handy
:/
Unless they hold a current and valid super-license I raise an eybrow to anyone who says about their Cup having the vastly superior handling they all crow on about.
The 0.1 to 60 will quickly be negated by whoever treats their clutch with the least respect and the cornering will come down to...
Plenty of photo's would suffice.
I'd also submit this thread in evidence as well, it would take a revolving-door case and turn it into a one-way express elevator to "Guilty!". I'm fairly sure that denying people their statutory rights can lead to fines too, on top of the possible HMRC...
I'm guessing someone's solicitor finally took 5 minutes to look at what they were being given and swiftly put the record straight.
Funny though, how the seller DEMANDS that they are sent by recorded delivery upto the value of the goods.... almost as if they're expecting there to be a problem...
Ever heard of the Unfair Terms Act?
You cannot force people to waive statutory rights, period.
I'm sat with 5 solicitors now, for a laugh I sent them the link to this post.
Cutting a long story shoret, there was a lot of aghast-looking faces, laughing in disbelief..... then they actually...
M40, you really dont seem to understand.
You sold the product by distance selling.
Which means he is covered by distance selling regulations
Which, as the vendor, you MUST honour.
Any solicitor who passed UK civil law (as in, all of them) will wash their hands of this immediately.
If you...
It's also worth noting that looch can chase any costs incurred too, such as travel, any accomodation needed before trial date, costs of legal counsel (oh yes, looch, you should get a barrister on board, it's probably going to be £300 quid added onto the bill, but it's not your bill!).
It'll be...
Jesus H f**king christ
M40 CUO, you MUST honour the rights of your customer, no matter how much of a 2-bit rogue trader you might be.
Without having the opportunity to examine the goods in advance of purchase, looch gets his distance selling rights, you have to just swallow it.
I...
This is all very lovely posturing, but, unfortunately I'm just going throw this in:-
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 - Boiled down to key, pertenent facts
Buyers are entitled to a 7 working day returns period starting the day after reciept on all purchases to...
Oh dear me.
This is a prime example of what can go wrong when shopping-trolley owners get ideas.
That is a 1.2 Merit, the lowest possible trim level you could get.
A lesson to be learnt here people, you cannot, at all, polish a turd.
In fairness, so do the MG Z-cars and the Clio V6.
First time the missus saw one she laughed endlessly about the "s**tty chav chariot, why would someone do that to a Clio!?".
She does have kind of a point,. but she was still given extra ironing and washing up for such a comment
When all said...
Wow
I just found out I've won an Xperia Play!
All just for setting lap times in a work competition!
Anyone got one of these already? Would like to know what's worth getting for them, programmes, parts etc.
Certainly going to be an upgrade on the HTC!
Woop!
if you'e going to get a replacement exhaust just for the hell of it (as opposed to because the current one is dead) then may as well go stainless, at least then you wont have to replace it again
small engines, trying to tug heavy cars around at motorway speeds = big fuel use
big engines doing the same job = lower fuel use.
I wonder. All other things equal, would a 1*2 doing 70 on a motorway return the same, better, or worse MPG's than a 1.2?
You wont get those kind of gains, even if you did, I can't imagine it making a noticable difference. On top of the meagre gains you'll also end up burning fuel a lot faster for the privilege.
Just keep saving the dolalr bills for something with manufacturer-installed power.
