The story goes... A week or so ago when braking i can hear a kind of grinding noise.. . The rear brake discs have been rusty for what seems like ever. Although it sounded like the grinding was coming from the front discs. I had a look at the pads (just from looking through the wheel spokes)...

i managed to blag a set from renault when i bought my car last year.. .they are just grey with a kind of sqaured pattern over them, with Clio written in the bottom right of the drivers mat... Think they're just the bog standard renault ones as i have seen them in a coutesy clio i had a while...

Mine just turned 12k yesterday...and feeling gr-r-r-eat. all this talk of 'getting better with age' makes me a bit happier about racking up the miles. Although i did like it when i forst bought it with only 4 digits on the dash. Suppose 12k for a 2003 cup is pretty low.. more driving more driving

I will probably be replacing with some components at some stage yes, so wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like under the dash to know what to expect. Might drive to braintree for your help ;-) (only kidding mate) actually i sometimes drive up the A12 (from M25) as the misses originally comes...

A pic of the dash being off might be useful, to show (me) what to expect when changing the tweeters on mine :-) Did the dash come off pretty easily? or were there any moments when you kind of regretted trying?

How did you get on fitting the tweeters under that dash? any problems?

Lots of projectors on the go here!! very nice. I got a 28" LCD in the front room (biggest i can have at the moment as it needs to go in a corner under the stairs :-( ), with a old dvd player.... & sky box. Got a small form factor pc out of the way behind the tv to play any divx movies photo...
