Bug & Tar Remover on Turinis

I had a small black mark on one of my Turinis so I used Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover on it, with surprisingly good results it came straight off, but I was wondering with it being so good if it potentially could do any harm to the wheel? I only gave it a little soak in water afterwards as it was in the garage.

It should be ok mate as bug and tar remover goes on the paintwork normally.

Does it say anything on the back that it shouldn't be used on alloys?

It is meant to be used on Paintwork, so it will be fine on Alloys, much more freindly then Acid based wheel cleaners.

I might have to get some of that then, i have lots of black dots in the spokes of my turinis :-( they don't come off easy!

buy 1 get 1 free on all turtle wax stuff at halfrauds at the moment, was supposed to be finished on the 6th but i went in last night and they were still doing it.
