for gods sake, when will people realise, if you're not going to throw your money at apple products then you're obviously a tool and should emigrate to the 3rd world where such devices belong.
gaaaaaaaahd.
Well, I'd still rather pay the extra for an SS, with leather et al, knowing when it comes to resale, it'll still be an SS, not a basic Abarth with a few bolt-on bits.
either way, it's academic, I wouldn't have one. but that's only an opinon
the last turbo era left cylinders free, so you could have a blown 1.5 litre V12 if you wanted.
in-line 4's and V6's were the mainstay though. The in-lines were typically canted though, to try and keep COG lower.
Cylinders should be free though, since the cars are already fuel-limited, teams...
yep, that'll happen.
I ring around each year, and every time Elephant have come good and gone back to my first year' cost.
this year I even managed t oget the price down!
pah, get a dozen cylinders at ya!
now THAT is how F1 should sound.
or, at worst
For these, and other examples of engines that like to make noise, mostly without fans inthe exhaust, goto:-...
you'll soon enough find out.
This whole software point I don't buy, since I know mine was updated and the crashes happened when running off of USB, iPod or phone.
But, well, maybe I had a duff one.
Again, positively, it's got a good interface and is better sounding than renault head units
Bringing this thread back to life.....
Air con blows hot air to various degrees, the fans change speed fine, but I suspect that the air-con isn't chucking out cooled air on command. Additionally, the demister takes forever now.
Resistor or other?
CS does like seem to want all to work to a formula, irrespective of what the car is.
MX5OC was a lot more tollerant of individuality, (yeah, probably because we were all hairdressers etc.). Mind, most people seemed more interested in making the cars go quicker rather than look 'faster'.. or...
I find messing with cars a complete waste of human effort, but hey.
and yes I know I've got those stripes on mine, but they were then when I got it and taking them off may have left a 2-tone paint finish
wait until you get your windscreen replaced from a stone chip or something, you can ask for a replacement with a graduated tint... you sometimes get lucky
dont bother.
the headunit version of the car kit is just as good at crashing out every 5 mintues.
you're better off with an alpine or similar. may cost a little more, but worth it....
say, one of these with the ipod lead

the car kit with ipod, usb, sd and 3.5mm inputs?
it's good, when it's not crashing out every 20 minutes.
careful with hopes on it delivering a decent amountof sound though, the golf stereo mine was attached to was much clearer and louder when asked to be.
THIS
I wouldn't mind the drop to 1.6's, providing they left cylinder counts free, at least then we could have some 6 cylinder machines still out there, they'd only be held back by the fuel allocation.
ideally though, 3.5 litres, cylinders free is the best way
4 pot = boring, end of.
PMSL.
"Negotiate"?
You cant negotiate with mobile phone companies, least of all where anything apple gets involved.
prices are set in stone, but you might get a case or something thrown in, oh lucky you
