As it happens they sent my neighbor out to me and turns out my (as I suspected) my battery was flat. AA man is on a bike though but ended up going to his colleague's...

Just removing the CMOS battery for 1/2 hour should reset it.

    172 cup owners opinions

Should be cheap then:D. I live in one of the worst high risk towns and I'm 33 with years of no claims and pay £460 with protected no claims and full breakdown cover.

    Falling out with your clio!!!

Don't see any point in that, a 2nd car does not make financial sense imo. The 1*2's don't cost that much more than any other car to run in the main.

I'm running the Hankook V12's on the front of mine at the moment. Great so far in the dry but not as good as my old Eagle F1's in the wet. Can't comment on the wear yet but 2 fitted for £110 was a bargain tbh:D. I haven't tried the PE2's, in what way do you think they're better out of interest?

    Huddersfield

And I heard a rummer that the only reason people go up there at night now was for the dogging;) Someone thought they could refurbish the old pub before getting planning permission. They got forced to pull it all down which although right it was a shame because of the location. t***s!!

Silver 197 losing to my vectra in manchester

True but it would take more than a 190/300 vectra with 4 adults in to achieve that. Iif you timed them both on a drag strip with the same driver/conditions I would put a good few ££ on the clio taking it somehow!

How much downforce does the 197 diffuser give?

Could be a 1000 reasons for that but I doubt it was the diffuser imo. I'm not even convinced the Clio rides low enough for the diffuser to have any effect tbh.

Silver 197 losing to my vectra in manchester

I think he is trying to say that the 197 is quicker than the Vectra not the 172.....
