No, how does the tyre with 5mm on the back have more grip than the one with 3.5mm on the back under braking? Appart from when your driving through standing water (although there will be VERY little difference between 3.5 and 5mm when you are) the tyre compound has a far greater impact on the...

So explain how under normal conditions a tyre with 5mm will have more grip than a tyre with 3.5mm lol.

Lol, I don't know that side to well but went over homemoss about a month ago and thought it was good but chose a s**t way back! Area I know is more over your way tbh. Ripponden, hebden way...Sort of did that ish earlier this year. I will try and have a think.

Mine does it a tiny bit, its the seals on the rear arch's letting the water in whilst driving in the wet. thats why it still does it even though its in a garage.
