The main problem I find with any 1.2 (and some bigger cars for that matter) is when something gets in your way when trying to make progress. It kills them and takes an age to get back up to speed. Long hills do the same too. Who ever said the Fiesta 1.25 is the best 1.2 I have to agree, its...

They can't defy the laws of physics but it has infinitely better control of the individual wheels than just using your throttle. I don't believe he could get up that slope without it myself and he did say he tried every way possible.

Isn't it Bosch that do the ESP in the Clio (they did on the megane)? In which case it could well be the same programe or similar to the one used on that Jag in the vid because its about the same age.

Iceberg is the best shade of silver on the roads imo. It looks superb when clean and in the right light.

The problem is to many people think they can drive better without it though!

But it wil make better use of any available grip than peoples right foot by helping to prevent it from loosing the grip.

Anyone that thinks they can out perform esp/traction control in snow/ice is talking crap imo. I remember seeing an episode of 5th gear a few years back when they tested a Jag with and without it on and it was so much better in the twisties and going up an ice hill it was unbelievable tbh.

Because it works better than not having it when going up snow/ice covered hills

Something wrong with yours then. I find it works well when trying to get up slippy hills.
