+2 That with a remap would make a nice car.

It can take out the cam belt if it goes so if needs doing get it done.

Didn't when I did mine. 2 second job. I pulled the top off and there is 2 electric blocks and I think it was the left one had slipped out a bit (but check both!). i just pushed it back together and then the airbag/service light went off.

Lights should just turn off I think. They did when I had them, but it was the steering wheel airbag causing mine. Worth checking that if your light is still on.

Try pulling the plastic off the top of the steering column (just clipped on, not screwed) and re-seat the airbag connection. It worked for me after I dropped something down the gap and nudged it trying to get it out.

But were talking cars that will be worth what 3k in a couple of years so not that big a deal. When bought new though....

Don't see the point in turning it off for road use myself. It hardly ever kicks in unless you don't know how to drive imo.

In the last 12 months. 4x tyres = £300 MOT = £265 including hazard switch, 1 T.R.E. Front disk/pads and removed re-greased front CV boots. Cambelt/Aux belt = £270 Rest of 5 year service next week around £120 Fuel 7000 miles around 1k FC insurance and full breakdown cover £450 AA break...

No but like I said there is a sensitivity adjuster which works fine 90% of the time.

You can change the sensitivity on the Clio wipers unlike the 406. Still not perfect though.
