ClioJohn, Ignore the 60mm koni thing, itll be fine using koni shocks with 60mm Pi springs edde, youve pretty much got the jist of it there!!! The rubber things are the top mounts, these have a bearing under them which allows the entire strut to twist when you turn the wheel On the shock...

and TBH its just as easy to change the whole exhaust as it is to remove the CAT!!! (itd be easy if the car was up on ramps, but when you have to lay on your back at 12 at night its a bit tricky!!!!!)

Where are you planning on taking it????? To me mate the car looks as if the front suspension has collapsed, just my opinion, but it just doesnt look right!! Get the springs checked these have a habit of breaking (well, ive seen 2 fail before on valvers) and you should also check the top mounts
