No mate, i ran the power cables down the passenger side, and the audio/video cables up the drivers side. I was getting a very loud buzzing noise and lines across the screen. It works perfectly with the new inverter

KDF, be careful with the XBOX, i tried my ps2 originally off just a boggo inverter wired to the back of the fag lighter but i got loads of interferrence, so i had to get a Sine wave inverter

Theyre easy to remove, smack out the internals with a screw driver + hammer then weld up the insides and allow it to cool (it contracts) then hammer + chisel = job done!! To get the new one in use a big bench vice

Na, paul, i wasnt having "a go", im just a bit of a "feck it, ill do it myself" sort of bloke!!!!! I havent grinded off the whole rear lip, just about 3-5mm at the top where it was catching, there was a wee bit of metal sticking out and ripping chunks out of my rear tyres, so i ground those off...
