i dont think it matters what car it comes out of, its the boss (bit that connects the wheel to the steering column splie) that matters (has to be for a clio)
Agree with HILLY, its a bag of poo, but its exactly what mags want, big dangly bodykits that look parp!!!!! (i hope yours is gonna be 10x better HILLY!!!)
maff, ive managed 17s with 110mm rear 80mm front!!
If its a 1998+ car, then there is no Torsion BAR, 1998+ clios have rear trailing 1 piece torsion BEAMS with rear springs
In other words if you clio is 1998 onwards it doesnt have a torsion bar
Gengar, Im in Birmingham
if your clio is 1998 + it should have two smaller springs (for the rear), and two longer springs(front)
Who you calling amatuer???? he paid £20 a corner, thats a total of £80 to undo 10nuts(and put them back on)!!!!!
The rear suspension is held on by 2 nuts for god sake!!!(1 nut each side)...
:o och aye!!!!! It realy depends on the tyres, 1mm difference in the offset aint really gonna matter, if you run tyres that have really chucky edges (my Avon ZZ1 205/40 for example) compared to skinny Falkens, youll get more clearance!!!!
two T20 torx screws at the back of the base hold it on (slide both front seats forwad, as if youre getting out the back of the car) undo these, and the base slides off
I couldve told you that!!!!! Infact i have, about 10,000,000,000 times LOL!!!!!
IMO ET37 is best bet all round (and for gods sake, lower your cars 60mm, the 40mm thing is really getting to me!!!!)
Paddy, you want ET37 (trust me)
where do you live??? i can do it for you????
Its dead easy, you do need spring compressors (only to get the old sprigs off the front struts) Plus a 22mm sockect a 17mm + 18mm spanner (adjustable spanner alternative) and a pair of mole grips (plus a jack and a pair of axle stands) 2hours if...
You dont, you just need a hacksaw blade, its dead easy (on the front, just be careful), i did it at the weekend!!! Taking an angle grinder to the rear arches was interesting!!!!!
