Not much of a weight saving (measured using bathroom scales) showing a 4kg difference, but i will measure the difference more accuratly soon

To do a 2.0 conversion youll need -
172 engine
172 ECU
172 Box
172 front and rear suspension complete (whole rear beam)
172 driveshafts
172 front and rear brakes (whole rear beam)
172 master cylinder
172 clocks
172 front bodywork (to accomodate wider front suspension)...
My car is on the 1st page, its fooking fithly at the moment!!!! I fitted the coilovers myself, i sorted the arches myself, i fitted the interior myself (with the help of my mate aka gigantor) ive done the stereo + PS2, the only things i havent done is the colour coding and the window tints

The cup racers use a Sadev 6speed sequential box - this has different ratios to the std 172 box and all you do to change gear is yank a big stick!!!! (no clutch needed i believe!)
Cup race cars hit 100mph in 10sec (if i remember right)

it shouldnt scrub if its unlowered, they "should" fit, but im uncertain about the offset, maybe need to use spacers. Which wheels are you looking at? areospeed??? PCD needs to be 4x100 BTW
