yep, thats what it means!!! ive had a look at my springs, and the coils have been banging together, causing the red covering to be rubbed off. Ive had a fiddle with them by rotating them round slightly, and it seems to have stopped it (Pi is the right way up)

It aint gonna fit cos the 2.0 16v (172) has got wider front wings and bumper than your car so that front splitter will be too wide. On a standard car it would look out of place anyway, get some wheels and lower it

TORSION BEAM NOT BAR!!!!!!! Its a platform that spans the width of the car and the springs sit between this and the shell. Like a rear trailing arm(read the specs on 172s on this site) 98onwards clios ALL have the same setup 4springs all roung (inc 172s, but they have a wider front track, i think)

Bloody rip off!!!! They quoted me that for an "uprated" kit for my car Lowering springs + Resetting all geometry. I eneded up doing it myself and it cost me £90 for the 60mm springs and £25 for the re-alingnment. Dont pay £399, theyre taking the piss!! If your going to spend that sort of money...

Try autoleads, they might do an adaptor. I cut the original connectors off and then crimped new connetors on to the wires (in the door) and on the plastic connector using the opposing connectors. this means i can always put the factory speakers back in, although i wont cos theyre crap!!!!

Its pumped in through a seperate solenoid. Its a gas that when heated turns into oxygen, so you now have a load of oxygen and not much fuel, so another solenoid is used to add more fuel and even up the mix. (I think, someone else will tell you how it properly works)

The springs should be mounted with the "Pi" the right way up. It doesnt rattle on my car if they are the right way up (they are cuurrently upside down and rattling)

yeah, it sounds like its rattling. Its only just started cos i turned the springs up the other way, cos i thought id mounted them wrong (back of the car looked too high). It was fine the other way up!!! Have a look under the rear bumper and see which way up the "Pi" writting is on the spring. On...
