Chap who i bought my old saab from had a customers gtir in getting paint done. Chap had spent some serious monies on the car and was running 800bhp ish iirc. Im sure he said 40k spent but he had a mustang in there too so cant be sure which one had the money spent on.

No mate. Download the software on the laptop and you can plug the rs tuner into the car and it will tell you what map you have

Don't get ktec ones. I had race land which afaik are the same and they are crap unless you want to go low with the added benefit off a crap ride

Tbh brakes on imprezas never inspired me tbh unless large monies is involved. Christ I sold a set of big brake calipers (ksport or similar) discs and pads for good money and I didn't rate them atall

I considered the 197 tbh but after speaking to a couple of people off here I've decided against it. It depends what your after really but for me it didn't tick enough boxes. Fuel economy in comparison to other cars against performance is crap. They look nice cars though

Anyway. I had an ep3 for six months, few subtle mods and went well enough. At a trackday at Oulton there was no difference in times really. The only two differences i found were, fuel consumption and fun of which the clio beats the civic hands down

Yup. I was going to elobarate but couldn't be bothered. In a nutshell a 535d would own a clio, easily. The only way it wouldn't if the driver was asleep

With clios mostly being the same 'ish' unless abused from birth there will only really be a small noticble difference imo on the road atleast. The time people say 'god my clio is quicker than previous ones' will be the new purchase syndrome lol.

Also my idle speed on the cup is around 1100 cold, drops to 9 ish when warm. My monaco also idles at over 1k, has been mapped but unsure by what. Revs higher than the cup and has zero cold start issues. In fact its bordering frikin annoying in the cup sometimes. But law of percentages from the...

Every clio ive had done has removed the 5k kick. The cup hasnt got the kick but hasnt been mapped. Because French.

My cup idles high but its def not been mapped, cold start can be an ass sometimes.

If it still has that kick then it more than likely hasnt been done
