What are you talking about with the throttle pedal? Ive had 2 Renault Sport Clios driven over 60k in them and the only thing ive replaced with the two of them is a lambda sensor and coil pack?
Also, the fuel consumption is probably of the best you will get from any hot...
I have the diagram somewhere (Renault gave me it) but im certain it splits under the heatshield above the rear back boxes..
As said its more of a pain in the arse than anything!
This is my favourite Clio on cs.net Craig, its absolutley perfect.
Im serious when i say, ill be keeping an eye out for this if you ever do get rid of it.

Ignore this - its utter crap.
A well looked after Clio Renault Sport will last forever, Russ on here had a 172 which was on 130k on the original gearbox and clutch and on ITB's.
Yes the Clios maintenance schedule is more expensive but they are worth it.
