You want your wheels to look nice so you spent x amount painting them to make you happy; Kev and I want our cars to look clean so we spend £££s on cleaning products and protect the cars on long journeys. The only difference is we are in a minority.

I would be very surprised if anyone I know would charge you. Pay for petrol, maybe. But it will take very little time - unless there are issues with your paint (low readings). In which case I would be advising you not to correct it yourself without the PDG on hand.

Search through my threads. I've recently redone the S3's. Degreased, detarred, de-ironed. Then IPA followed by C4 on the plastics and Fk1000p on the metal/paint. Still spotless 4 months on.

Use 2000 up wet and dry paper IF you think you can get the scratches out by hand polishing. If you have a decent amount of time and some decent polish/pads, go for it. If not, ask a local detailer. I use to charge £25 to sort it as it doesn't take long with the right tools.
