I would be amazed if you take paint off with a orbital, you would be more likely to do as the n00b has said, scratch it with either the machine or a pad accidentally.
The pads definitely won't last those cars. Mine barely last three/four clio's paint work, let alone the audis.
That polish is...
Hi Tim,
Not a bad habbit to get into mate. I would agree with Ali, however, that just one product line is not really the way to go.
I am not certain that you will need a rotary for this process and think it may be a little over kill/making it harder on yourself. But this is just my thought...
Now I've read it, the Megs range isn't all that tbf. I started with it, but actually took me three times longer than with the Menz range. I know Ali will big up the 3M range, but I am yet to try.
Make sure that you take your time. Mask off the Plastics and rubbers. I say this, not because...

In all honesty, for things like wheels, and bodywork in winter, I just seal the paintwork properly and don't bother with a wax.
I basically have OCD, so wheels come off every couple of months and paint is...
FLOL @ playdo set! ***goes to find that Rapidough game***
Hai Becs, the 27 came up so well, was perusing photos last night for a best work compilation for a mate's art project.
Again, no experience with AG HD and have to agree with the Netherland resident, wax each month ftw :)
No Nic mate, spritzing is the action of spraying lightly, i.e. spraying a light sprinkling of water/quick detailer in this case onto the pad when it's new to soften it up a bit. New pads/freshly washed pads tend to be a little more difficult to start/prime.
Justin, I've heard the Dodo waxes actually react with paint work after too much use, turning them this awful yellow colour ;)
In all seriousness, P21s is old but faithful. Onyx would be for me, depends whether you can stretch to things like Carbons and above.
