Paint correction is the longest and most challenging part. The rest is just icing on the cake in all honesty, and the extra is just for products used and time taken.
Oh and btw, I showed Dad pics of an RB R27 before you arrived and he went "meh". When I was done he couldn't stop chatting about how amazing the colour and paint looked :)
Yeah it really is great stuff mate. Haven't bought enough of it for my use (detailing a car a week atm :)) so will be ordering more since I got on well with it!
HA!
I have to say that I agree. The main reason, IMO, is that the surfaces are so much wider and flatter than on 182's, meaning there is more surface shine. Gorgeous car to wax as well.
Ali seems to like the 3M because of the finish and the price, Pete. Not tried it myself but the finishing compound is on my "next week list", since my Menz FF is running low. Have sod loads of IP left and love it, so, so, so much better than the Megs 80/83 twins!
That is a good point, Pete...
Pretty sure they haven't even touched the swirls either, Pete. But my plan would be to start with the rear spoiler with some final finish on a finishing pad, see how that goes down, if not step up to something with a little more cut; pad likewise.
I love that word. It works better than an electric shock in the mornings. Should just get my phone alarm to shout that, would get me leaping out of bed ;)
I'm not sure, I haven't managed to chat to him this morning.
Just to point out, unfortunately, as stated in a previous post, these companies should know what they are doing. People, who do not have a knowledge of car detailing (most of the general public let's be honest), are not going to know...
